Animal Welfare Team

About us

Animal Welfare - Healing our animals, protecting their world.
We're a diverse group of volunteers from across Australia, united by our love for animals of every kind!  We are driven by the opportunity to save precious lives here and around the globe, whilst also playing an important role in protecting their fragile homes.
Whether you're a wildlife rescue pro or simply an animal lover, we would love to help you!

Meet the Team

Elissa (Team Lead) is a huge fan of our Australian Wildlife and has spent many family holidays at the Gippsland Lakes in Eastern Victoria over the last 20 years. She has a ton of experience working in the non-profit sector and is always up for a chat about the adorable critters you're taking care of.

Olivia has always had a place in her heart for furry creatures. After spending all day in the laboratory as a cancer researcher, all she wants to do when she gets home is cuddle up with her cat, watch adorable animal videos and help make sure that all animals are being taken care of.

What we do

We actively seek charities and not-for-profit organisations that champion animal welfare and encourage them to partner with Medical Pantry so that together we can create a win-win solution for animal healthcare and the environment.
We also collaborate with our existing partners to find specific medical supplies or equipment they need, ensuring that their FREE orders are promptly packed and ready for pickup or delivery when required.

How we work

As we are giving away FREE medical supplies and equipment, all animal welfare advocates must become a Medical Pantry community partner before placing their first order.
Becoming a community partner is simple:
  1. We'll ask you to complete an online application form. This helps us understand how we can best support you.
  1. If you meet our straightforward criteria, including reference checks, we'll send you a partnership agreement. This is a legal document which helps you understand your role as the recipient of our FREE medical supplies.
  1. Once the partnership agreement is signed and approved, you will be an official Medical Pantry Community Partner!

Community partners can order from our online store as often as they like. If we don’t have what you need, we can help you create a "wishlist" of supplies. Remember - the more you take, the less the healthcare system throws into landfill!

How to get in contact

If you would like to learn more about becoming a Medical Pantry community partner, please email us at [email protected].

Messages from some of our Partners

Within two weeks of Cyclone Jasper, we received 60kg of custom-packed supplies. These resources gave animals like Jasper (above) a chance to survive. We used the huck towels for hygiene, various syringes for feeding and vitamin dosing, incise drapes to protect clothing, and swabs for cleaning. Nothing was wasted.” - Far North Queensland Wildlife Rescue.

“The wonderful volunteers at The Medical Pantry could not have been more helpful - the equipment and supplies that they have given me have made a massive difference to my work helping animals and promoting animal welfare in this third world Pacific country.” - Dr. Caty Swain, President, Animals Vanuatu Association.

Thank you to all our partners
